Natural Organic Deodorant - Thai Crystal Deodorant Mist

Tagged Under : , ,

There’s been talk about deodorants containing carcinogenic chemicals so I decided to look into a natural deodorant to replace my current Degree stick. I needed a deodorant that would stay with me ALL day. Usually my Degree stick would “fail” by the end of the day so it didn’t matter since I was hopping in the shower anyway so that’s why I used it for so many years. The only other deodorant that would work well for me was Arrid but I didn’t like the stinging or burning sensation when I would put it on.

On my journey to finding the perfect natural deodorant, I came across Tom’s of Maine. I decided to try their longlasting stick (12 hours). I was quite disappointed. I guess they accidently added a “1″ before the 2 in the 12 hour because it would only last me 2 hours. So I would bring it with me where ever I went and would have to reapply it in the bathroom; not very fun. Not only that, but after a week of using it, I noticed my armpits would start to itch, REALLY bad. After 2 weeks of using it, it was unbareble and I had to go back to using my Degree stick. After getting off of the Tom’s of Maine stick for a few days, the itching went away.

I kept looking for a new natural deodorant to try and that’s when I came across this: Thai Crystal Deodorant Mist. I saw the 4.5 out of 5 stars on the reviews but with only 9 people. But all reviews that gave it a 4 or less were because the sprayer didn’t work like it should (and it doesn’t, that’s the only bad thing). I decided to order it a few weeks ago and have been using it ever since it came in. I put it to the test the last few days. I applied it Wednesday morning, worked out, didn’t shower and was expecting to smell that night; I didn’t. I woke up Thursday morning thinking, “I’m going to definitely be stinking now”, but I didn’t. I figured I wouldn’t shower to really see how long this would last (yeah I know, gross huh?). So last night I did a pretty intensive hour+ long work out that really gets me sweating to see if this would still be working. IT WAS! I was so amazed. Again, I didn’t shower last night and wanted to test it out again today. It was still working! No stink. I went and did some yoga (which definitely gets me sweating) and still no stench.

I then concluded that this deodorant was better than ANY “possibly” carcinogenic deodorant out there, especially if it can work on me for 3 days of working out and no showering. Though I just got out of the shower because I couldn’t stand to test this any longer.

So if you are looking around for a natural deodorant, I HIGHLY recommend Thai Crystal Deodorant Mist. Not only does it work great, it is less than $11 (USD) but it looks like it will last at least 6 months, if not a lot more, and that’s with me and my fiance using it each day.

Be on the look out for some more product reviews. I’ve been testing more natural and organic replacements and will let you know what I think within the next few days to weeks.
